Enduring Moments

We balance on the knife thin wire of time that we all inhabit for all of our lives.  Our memories fabricate what we believe to have passed.  Our big brains project the existence of the future.  But here we are, always stuck on the infinitely narrow NOW - the enduring moment.

"The only reason for time is so that everything doesn't happen at once."

                                    - Albert Einstein

"An hour is not merely an hour; it is a vase full of scents and sounds and projects and climates."     - Marcel Proust
